If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that 2021 has been a looong year. It has also been stressful, no matter which phase of life you’re in. But, the festive season (and the end of the year!) is almost upon us and with that comes the chance to celebrate with friends and family, but while observing the necessary precautions. And if you’re looking to put your best face forward and dazzle at the next pre-Diwali party, allow us to let you in on some skincare secrets shared by our founder, Dr. Aneesh Sheth.

Why is dullness such a common problem prevalent in Indian skin?

“Indian skin gets exposed to a lot of UV, dust and pollution, which causes micro-damage resulting in uneven skin tone or dullness.”

Is there any way we can give our skin a boost and brighten it ahead of a big event?

“Using a peel like our Medium Strength Peel is always great if you want an immediate glow - for acne prone skin, using our Clarifying Sulphur Mask is also a good way to go for a short term pep-up.”

A common question asked is, "when will I see results, or is there a quick fix that I can use?” what would you recommend in that case?

“Quick fixes are masks or peels. Results vary basis the concerns - for things like ageing and pigmentation don't expect results before 6-8 weeks. For acne, spot treatments can work in 2-3 days. And remember, everything is pointless without sunscreen.”
