We tested both the control samples at the lab as well as ‘market complaint’ samples (referred to as MC in the attached reports), from the consumers who raised the issue. After a thorough microbial analysis, the tests for the 5 samples picked at random from the ones we got, have all come back negative and it has been confirmed that there is no growth — microbial or fungal — in the formulation, nor any kind of contamination. We have also tested the samples for niacinamide content to determine efficacy and checked for any degradation, and found that the niacinamide content too has stayed constant. In conclusion, the samples are safe and effective to use.
However, given the observations about precipitation, we have decided to upgrade the polymer system.
